56 NYC Nonprofits to Follow on Twitter

We’ve noticed that quite a few New York-based nonprofit organizations—from museums to environmental groups to human rights advocates—are using Twitter to stay in touch with supporters and share news related to their cause.

Here are the organizations we’ve found that are currently Tweeting:
