We just read about the This Is What Women Want tour (hat tip: Racialicious), and wanted to spread the word about an event that’s happening tonight at 7:00.

Before each of this year’s Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates, the tour has organized events in the host city, allowing women to speak out about what they want from the media and the candidates. The best “speakouts” are sent to national media outlets and the candidates.

The NYC event will feature speakouts from Kate Bornstein, Kety Esquivel, Shelby Knox, Betsy Reed, Amy Richards, Carmen Van Kerckhove and numerous other national and community leaders. You could be one of them!
