Secret Agents Wanted for Art Parade

I’ve never been to the Deitch Project’s Art Parade but I’m going to try my darndest to make it this year. It’s been an institution the past few years, marking the end of summer and usually involving crazy costumes, loud music, performances and lots of interesting art. It’s not unusual to find a marching band followed by a group of marchers clad in white suits carrying a huge eyeball-shaped balloon followed by life-size bobble heads.

If you want to get involved but aren’t sure how, look no further! Urban Prankster and artist Mina Karimi is looking for participants to help orchestrate an art piece. Karimi wants to recreate the parade scene of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off:

I am recruiting secret agents in the audience of the parade to mimic the extras in the movie as my Ferris float approaches. In order to fully reproduce the spirit of the scene I will need at least 100 agents on each block of the parade to get the Ferris joy-ball rolling.
