Shout-out to nonprofit interns and young professionals!
This is Joy and Dan from the Idealist team, and we wanted to spread the word about a big event we’re organizing. This Tuesday, July 29th, Idealist will host its Second Annual Intern Networking Event at New York University. We’ll be bringing together more than 100 interns and young professionals in nonprofit and public good careers. This will be a great opportunity to practice networking skills, learn more about working in the nonprofit sector, and enjoy a catered meal courtesy of Supermac.
For more information, check out our event listing. Please note that all attendees must RSVP by July 28—and spaces are filling up fast so you might want to register right now!
And a special note to the non-interns out there: it would be great to have a lot of nonprofit professionals in the house, who can share their experiences and offer advice to current interns. This is also a great opportunity for you to meet and connect with your fellow NYC nonprofiteers. Please share this invitation with your friends!
We hope to see you there!

That picture of Mac and Cheese just made me extremely hungry and even MORE eager to come to the event!
Oh man. I’m a Mac n Cheese Monster.
Has anyone seen that Friends episode where Joey is on a TV show called Mac and CHEESE? hehe.
Very cool. I just rsvp’d so I guess I’ll see you there!
Last year’s fiesta was so high-energy. There are so many interns doing unique things in New York City that we decided to produce a podcast featuring a few of them. Check it out!
